Don't Miss the Buck Moon in July 2023

The full moon in July 2023 will be called the Buck Moon. It is also known as the Salmon Moon, Raspberry Moon.

The Buck Moon will be a supermoon, which means that it will be slightly closer to Earth than usual.

This makes it appear slightly larger and brighter in the sky.

On Monday, July 3, at 7:39 AM Eastern Time, the Buck Supermoon will be at its brightest.

But beginning on Sunday, July 2, it will be observable in the night sky.

The full moon will occur 13 times in 2023 as opposed to the typical 12 full moons every year.
